The Opportunity

Voy is one of the UK's fastest-growing digital health companies, delivering innovative care across men's health, metabolic health, menopause, hormonal health, TRT, and dermatology. Behind our digital experiences is a rigorous clinical engine that relies on precise, timely lab diagnostics to power personalised healthcare programmes for our members.

You'll join our lab operations team as a Lab Associate Practitioner, playing a hands-on role in processing samples and delivering accurate test results. Working alongside experienced Biomedical Scientists, medical staff, and laboratory personnel, you will operate key equipment and follow high-standard clinical protocols to ensure our testing process runs smoothly and reliably every day.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the development and verification of laboratory tests.
  • Handle the receipt of biological samples and prepare them for analysis.
  • Operate and maintain a range of automated and semi-automated laboratory equipment and analysers.
  • Perform routine laboratory tests accurately and efficiently, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform daily internal quality control (IQC) checks and participate in external quality assurance (EQA) schemes.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment issues under supervision and report malfunctions or breakdowns promptly to senior staff.
  • Accurately record and enter data into Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
  • Adhere strictly to all laboratory health and safety policies and procedures, including COSHH, sharps disposal, and biological hazard management.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with Biomedical Scientists, medical staff, and other laboratory personnel to ensure seamless lab throughput.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
