Lab Technician (Method Validation)
Location: Slough - This is a lab based role
Laboratory Technician responsible for supporting laboratory scientists by ensuring the efficient operation of laboratory support services. Key duties include maintaining adequate stocks of reagents, consumables, and buffer solutions, while upholding high laboratory standards to ensure a safe, organised, and compliant working environment.

What you will do
- Perform laboratory housekeeping activities, routine instrument maintenance, and regular checks of reagent and consumable stock levels to ensure uninterrupted laboratory operations.
- Prepare analytical buffers in accordance with laboratory methods and operational processes.
- Manage analytical method consumables inventory, including monitoring stock locations and points of use based on method lifecycle requirements and consumption rates.
- Order reagents and consumables through the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or external suppliers to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Process departmental deliveries, ensuring timely receipt, correct storage, and notification to relevant stakeholders.
- Plan, prioritise, and complete assigned tasks within agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Support departmental 6S and Integrated Management System (IMS) initiatives to maintain an organised, efficient, and compliant working environment.
- Maintain all required GMP training in line with defined training plans and departmental requirements.
- Consistently adhere to current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards, quality requirements, and laboratory procedures.
