What the role is

As a member of our Biology Division team, you will play a critical role in conducting serological testing and collection of biological material on evidence submitted by law enforcement agencies, participate in lab improvement/research projects through digital solutions and assist in developing/validating new technologies/methods.

What you will be working on

  • Examination for biological fluids using chemical and serological tests.
  • Collection of biological material on evidence submitted by law enforcement agencies.
  • Assist in lab improvement/research projects through digital solutions.
  • Assist scientists in developing/validating new technologies/methods.
  • Supporting laboratory administrative duties such as equipment maintenance, inventory management, procurement of consumables, and preparation of laboratory reagents/supplies.
  • Adhering to stringent quality control and quality assurance protocols, and assisting in laboratory quality assurance duties such as checking for expiry dates, conduct of basic performance checking tests.

  • Must possess background knowledge in a Biology/Biomedical Science/Biotechnology (or equivalent).
  • Successfully completed supervised laboratory research in project in biochemistry/molecular biology area.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
  • Collaborative team player with the capability to work independently, showcasing a proactive approach.
  • Proficient in digital and data analytic skill will be an advantage (e.g. Power Automate and Power Apps, SQL, Python, Tableau).
