What the role is
As a member of our Biology Division team, you will play a critical role in conducting serological testing and collection of biological material on evidence submitted by law enforcement agencies, participate in lab improvement/research projects through digital solutions and assist in developing/validating new technologies/methods.
What you will be working on
- Examination for biological fluids using chemical and serological tests.
- Collection of biological material on evidence submitted by law enforcement agencies.
- Assist in lab improvement/research projects through digital solutions.
- Assist scientists in developing/validating new technologies/methods.
- Supporting laboratory administrative duties such as equipment maintenance, inventory management, procurement of consumables, and preparation of laboratory reagents/supplies.
- Adhering to stringent quality control and quality assurance protocols, and assisting in laboratory quality assurance duties such as checking for expiry dates, conduct of basic performance checking tests.

What we are looking for

- Must possess background knowledge in a Biology/Biomedical Science/Biotechnology (or equivalent).
- Successfully completed supervised laboratory research in project in biochemistry/molecular biology area.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
- Collaborative team player with the capability to work independently, showcasing a proactive approach.
- Proficient in digital and data analytic skill will be an advantage (e.g. Power Automate and Power Apps, SQL, Python, Tableau).
