Job Description
Job Title: Laboratory Stores Person
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Glasgow
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Industry: Health & Nutrition, Life Science

As our Lab Stores Coordinator, you'll play an important role in supporting laboratory operations by ensuring materials, consumables, and equipment are available when needed. Working closely with laboratory teams and suppliers, you'll help keep the site organised, efficient, and compliant.

- Manage stock, inventory, and materials for laboratory operations
- Raise purchase orders and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate stock records and store areas
- Support laboratories with materials, equipment, and day-to-day requirements
- Help maintain quality, health & safety, and compliance standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement across stores and procurement activities
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
- Experience in stores, stock control, warehouse, purchasing, procurement, or inventory management
- Strong organisation, communication, and customer service skills
- Good IT skills and attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Experience in a regulated environment would be beneficial
Ideal Backgrounds
- Stores Controller, Stock Controller, Warehouse Coordinator, Procurement Assistant, Purchasing Assistant, Materials Controller, Laboratory Stores Assistant, or Inventory Coordinator.
