Laboratory Support Technician
Hours: 8:30am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday
We’re currently supporting a research organisation looking for a Laboratory Support Technician to join their animal unit on a 3-month contract.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, hands-on and eager to learn, working within the cage cleaning rooms of a busy animal research facility.
What are we looking for?
- Previous cage wash experience is not essential
- A willingness to learn and follow established procedures
- Reliable and comfortable with hands-on, repetitive work
- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Experience working within an animal facility or laboratory environment would be advantageous
- Autoclave experience would be a bonus

The role
You will work within the cage cleaning rooms of the unit, supporting the cleaning, preparation and processing of cages and associated equipment.
