Role Description
This full-time, on-site Laboratory Technician role at BindEthics Ltd. is based in Leeds. The Laboratory Technician will set up, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment, prepare samples for shipment to customers, and perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in accordance with established protocols.
Responsibilities include:
- Recording and analyzing data
- Supporting quality control procedures
- Ensuring that all work complies with safety, ethical, and regulatory standards
- Maintaining accurate documentation
- Managing laboratory inventory
- Collaborating with scientists and other team members to support ongoing projects and process improvements

Candidates should possess:
- Strong laboratory skills and experience working as Laboratory Technicians in a professional laboratory environment.
- Proficiency in handling and maintaining laboratory equipment and related tools.
- Solid analytical skills, including the ability to interpret test results and troubleshoot experimental issues.
- Experience with sample preparation procedures and a commitment to consistent, reliable data and process integrity.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and good laboratory practice (GLP).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow protocols accurately.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
