About The Role
Doncaster, DN5 - We are looking for a motivated and practical Laboratory Technician Apprentice to join our laboratory team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, developing hands-on laboratory skills while working towards a Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship.
As a Laboratory Technician Apprentice, you will support the day-to-day work of the laboratory, assisting with testing, preparing samples and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. You will be trained and supported throughout the apprenticeship.
Key Duties Include
- Assisting with laboratory tests and experiments under supervision
- Preparing samples, materials and equipment for testing
- Accurately recording results and maintaining laboratory records
- Cleaning, maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment
- Following health & safety procedures and quality standards
- Working as part of a team to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy

Apprenticeship Details
Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship
- Combination of on-the-job training and off-the-job learning
- Full training and support provided
- No previous laboratory experience required
What We’re Looking For
- An interest in science and laboratory work
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Basic IT skills
- GCSEs (or predicted grades), particularly Maths and Science, are desirable but not essential
