Labour Controller at PTSG Electrical Services
Location - Castleford (office based)
Salary - £26,000-£28,000

About the Role
You’ll plan and schedule Electrical testing and remedials across the UK, coordinating a team of Electricians to deliver work safely, on time, and to standard. Every day is varied, with problem-solving, team management, and opportunities to make a real impact on the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as the key link between clients, engineers, and the wider business to keep projects running smoothly.
- Plan and schedule work nationwide, ensuring engineers are fully equipped, trained, and supported.
- Monitor job completion, paperwork, invoicing, and reporting to keep operations on track.
- Drive team performance and support management in achieving KPIs and strong service delivery.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone with experience as a Labour Controller, Planner or Scheduler, who thrives in a busy, service-driven environment. You stay calm under pressure, adapt quickly, and enjoy solving problems as they arise. Strong people skills are essential — building client relationships while guiding and supporting colleagues is a big part of the role. Organised and tech-savvy, you’ll confidently use tools like Excel and our in-house system to plan ahead, react fast, and make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
