About the Role

As a supernumerary Labour Ward Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination of the Labour Ward, facilitating high quality, safe and effective care focused on improving outcomes for our service users. We need the successful candidate to work collaboratively with the MDT, have great organisation skills, have a good understanding of staffing and acuity, be able to set priorities, objectives and goals in line with current maternity agendas.

About the Organisation

ASPH are proud to offer a homebirth service, an amazing alongside birthing centre, and a level Neonatal Unit. Our midwives get a range of experience supporting uncomplicated pregnancies to developing care plans for our more complex pregnancies.

Role Details

As a Labour ward co-ordinator it is essential that you advocate safe and effective clinical practice by maintaining current knowledge, skills, and competencies. You will be a clinical expert, supporting our MDT to work collaboratively, continuously assessing, implementing, and evaluating plans of care to achieving optimum outcomes for our service users.
