An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Labour Ward Coordinator within the Maternity Services.

We are looking for a midwife with experience in all aspects of maternity care who is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed to the provision of a high-quality service and has excellent leadership skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • You will have the drive and initiative to ensure that Consultant and Midwifery Led care is optimally provided to the women who choose to have their babies within the Maternity Unit.
    • If you want to be part of a growing, developing team with a great future, we would love to hear from you.
  • To engender a team philosophy within the labour ward.

  • Demonstrating excellence in clinical practice, taking responsibility for the coordination of care within the department, providing leadership while fulfilling a caring and teaching function.

  • To act primarily as Labour Ward coordinator, but occasionally working in all areas of the Maternity Service including Community rotating from day to night duty.
