About The Role
Pertemps Bristol Perm Hub seeks a Labourer for a full-time, permanent position in Highbridge, paying £14 per hour. The Role
- Assembly and fitting of industrial equipment and components
- Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Measuring, aligning, and fitting components accurately
- Using a range of hand and power tools
- Carrying out mechanical assembly and adjustments as required
- Checking completed work to ensure it meets the required standards
- Identifying and reporting any issues with components or finished assemblies
- Working alongside welders, fabricators, and other members of the engineering team
- Ensuring production deadlines and quality standards are met
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Following all relevant health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a mechanical fitting, assembly, or engineering role
- Ability to read and interpret engineering or technical drawings
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Good mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment would be advantageous
