Labourer - Empty Homes Mobile across North Yorkshire
Permanent & Full time (37 hours)
Company vehicle for business use and commuting.
We have an exciting opportunity to become part of our Empty Homes Team. Come and be part of a passionate team that take real pride in producing homes where our customers can put down roots.
This is a hands-on, varied role where you'll be moving between properties, carrying out everything from heavy-duty builders cleans to the final sparkle clean that gives our customers a house to put down roots.
What you'll be doing:
- Working in an empty property that's just had repair or refurbishment work completed.
- Dealing with dust, debris, and leftover materials.
- Carrying out a full builders clean, including clearing waste and tackling tough areas with residue from previous works.
- Giving the whole property a thorough top-to-bottom clean.
- Assisting multi-skilled colleagues with filling, painting patches, external works such as gutter cleaning, and garden works.
- Shifting materials, removing bulky items left behind, supporting with heavy lift, and installing loft installations.
- Getting those homes ready for handover by polishing fittings, cleaning internal windows, and ensuring every room looks fresh, clean, and welcoming.

What we're looking for:
- Experience of working with the general public.
- Team player and able to work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver great results.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to self-motivate by showing commitment, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Able to follow/identify maintenance and improvement works, from work instructions and technical drawings and plans.
- Able to climb ladders, work at height, and physically undertake the duties.
- Ability and confidence to drive a works vehicle.
