TÜV SÜD – A global leader in the field of testing, inspection, management system certification and product certification renowned for quality, integrity and technical excellence.

Established more than 150 years ago in Germany, TÜV SÜD is a leading global provider of technical services with more than 28,000 highly skilled employees across 1,000 offices worldwide. TÜV SÜD offers a wide range of testing & product certification, inspection, auditing & system certification, training and knowledge services. We are a premium quality, safety, and sustainability solutions provider.

We test flow meters, the devices that measure how much liquid or gas is moving through a pipe. To do this, we build large test setups from pipes, valves and pumps, run the tests, then take everything apart for the next job.

We're looking for a practical, hands-on labourer to help our engineers and fitters keep this running. You don't need lab experience. If you've worked somewhere practical and you're comfortable with tools, we'll train you in the rest.

What You'll Do

  • Help build and dismantle test setups made from pipework, valves and meters
  • Fit and remove customers' equipment before and after testing
  • Get tools, bolts, seals and parts ready for each job
  • Move heavy equipment safely, using cranes and forklifts once trained
  • Help with routine maintenance on pumps, valves and pipes
  • Help check for leaks and pressure-test pipework, under supervision
  • Spot and report damage or faults
  • Keep workshops and test areas clean and organised
  • Fill in simple checklists and records
  • When testing is quieter, you'll work through planned maintenance and tidying jobs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
