Labourer Driver

Connolly is looking for a reliable and hardworking driver to join our Social Housing team. This is an important role supporting our refurbishment programmes across Greater Manchester, ensuring materials, tools and equipment are delivered safely and efficiently to site teams working on occupied and void properties. If you're organised, dependable and enjoy a varied role where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you. As a Driver, you'll support operational teams by transporting materials, collecting supplies and ensuring sites have everything they need to keep projects running smoothly. You'll be working closely with site teams, suppliers and operatives across a range of Social Housing refurbishment projects.

Who We Are

Connolly is a family-run specialist in complex, whole-house refurbishment – delivered by our own Connolly people. We were founded in 1980 by Tony Connolly who still pops in to keep an eye on us. We work for social landlords across the North of England to create warmer, safer and decent homes. This includes refurbishing internal spaces such as kitchens and bathrooms, upgrading exterior windows and doors, plus retrofitting homes to make them more energy efficient and compliant with latest legislation.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintain company vehicles in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Report vehicle defects, incidents and accidents.
  • Carrying out regular vehicle checks and reporting defects.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised company vehicle.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
