Are you a creative and trend-driven Ladies Jersey & Wovens Designer with a passion for creating commercial, fashion-forward womenswear?
We are recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing fashion supplier working with leading UK retailers. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Ladies Jersey & Wovens Designer to their design team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a designer who loves creating feminine, trend-led collections, with a particular focus on dresses, jersey, and woven separates, co-ords, playsuits, jumpsuits, occasionwear and other key ladieswear styles.
The Role
Working closely with the design, sales, and product development teams, you will be responsible for creating commercially successful ladieswear collections from initial concept through to final sample development.
You will play a key role in identifying seasonal trends, developing new product ideas, and building ranges that resonate with both customers and consumers, creating trend-led product for the UK high street and online retailers.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop trend-led ladies jersey and woven collections.
- Create stylish dresses, jersey, and woven separates, co-ords, playsuits, jumpsuits, occasionwear and other key womenswear products.
- Research seasonal trends, colours, prints, fabrics and silhouettes.
- Produce CADs, detailed artwork and technical packs.
- Develop exclusive print, pattern and embellishment concepts.
- Work closely with customers to understand briefs and present design concepts.
- Liaise with overseas factories throughout the sampling and development process.
- Attend customer meetings and assist with range presentations.
- Source new fabrics, trims and product innovations.
- Ensure all products are commercially focused and aligned with current market trends.
About You
- Experience working as a Ladieswear Designer, ideally across jersey, wovens, dresses and occasionwear.
- Previous experience within a fashion supplier environment would be advantageous.
- Strong commercial handwriting with an excellent understanding of the UK high street market.
- Excellent Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills.
- Strong trend, colour, fabric, and print awareness.
- Experience creating technical packs and managing product development.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced supplier environment.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
