About the Role

We are hiring for an ambitious Land Agent, based in York or Harrogate, with a focus on Estate Management. Working alongside our experienced Yorkshire team, you will support a growing pipeline of projects and contribute to the continued expansion of our rural professional services offering. There is real scope to shape your role and specialise over time, while maintaining broad exposure across disciplines.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

  • Delivering a wide range of rural professional services, including estate management, valuation, landlord and tenant, and compensation work
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, supporting the day-to-day management of rural estates, including strategic planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring
  • Providing advice on land use, diversification opportunities, and environmental and stewardship schemes, helping clients maximise the value of their assets
  • Managing landlord and tenant matters, including rent reviews, lease renewals, and general tenancy management
  • Identifying opportunities to support clients with wider business lines, including planning & development, commercial property, and energy
  • Supporting business development activity and contributing to the growth of the team and wider firm
  • Working closely with Partners to implement business plans and deliver against strategic objectives
  • Managing a varied workload effectively, ensuring delivery to a high standard and in line with professional and regulatory requirements

What Will It Take to Be Successful?

  • Ideally MRICS / CAAV qualified (or working towards), with Registered Valuer status desirable
  • Commercially aware, with a proactive approach to client service and business development
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trusted, long-term relationships
  • Well organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, with the confidence to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach with sound judgment
