Role Description
The Land Agent role at Terra Firma Auctions is a full-time hybrid position based in Greater London, with flexibility for some work from home. The Land Agent will source, appraise, and manage land opportunities for auction, including residential, commercial, and investment plots.

Daily Responsibilities

- Conducting due diligence
- Reviewing planning and title documentation
- Coordinating valuations
- Preparing property information packs
- Negotiating lease terms where applicable
- Liaising with landowners, councils, public bodies, and corporate clients
- Supporting the smooth progression of properties from instruction through to auction
The role involves:
- Collaborating with agents and joint agency partners
- Maintaining accurate records of land assets and leases
- Contributing to marketing initiatives and client communications to help grow the auction portfolio
Qualifications
- Strong experience in land management and land acquisition, with the ability to identify, evaluate, and coordinate a range of land opportunities.
- Proficiency in leases and lease administration, including reviewing documentation, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Demonstrated capability in lease negotiations, with a focus on achieving fair, commercially sound outcomes for all parties.
- Knowledge of the UK land and property market, preferably including auction processes and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for working with private clients, public bodies, agents, and other stakeholders.
- Solid organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time between Greater London-based activities and remote work.
- Relevant education or professional qualifications in land management, real estate, surveying, or a related field are advantageous.
