Land and Planning Associate | Renewable Energy | London (Hybrid)

Are you passionate about net zero and looking to build your career in renewable energy development? This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing international clean energy developer at an exciting stage of its growth.

About the company

Our client is an established developer of solar PV and battery energy storage projects, with a substantial pipeline across the UK and international markets. With a significant volume of projects moving into construction over the next 12 months, the business is expanding its platform into asset ownership and investment management, and is exploring opportunities in new adjacent markets.

About the role

As Land and Planning Associate, you'll join the Development team and play a key part in progressing projects from site identification through to construction. You'll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of land and planning activities, working closely with senior leadership and gaining real exposure in a growing, collaborative business.

This is a hybrid role based in Central London (minimum 4 days per week in the office), with travel to project sites and community events across the UK.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
