Land Assembly Assistant
Salary: £36,340 per annum
Location: Birmingham
Type: Permanent
We are currently recruiting for a Land Assembly Assistant to support land assembly activities across a major infrastructure programme.
The role will involve coordinating land requirements, supporting compulsory purchase and land acquisition activities, managing land referencing data, and working closely with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate land assembly activities across allocated areas.
- Work with contractors and consultants to ensure land requirements are identified and delivered.
- Assure land referencing data and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare possession and acquisition notices for approval.
- Approve notices for survey access.
- Manage progress trackers and escalate delays where required.
- Maintain registers of notices prepared, served, and returned.
- Support collaborative working across project teams and supply chain.

Key Requirements:
- Experience in land referencing and/or land assembly.
- Knowledge or understanding of compulsory purchase and land acquisition.
- Experience using Excel or equivalent to compile and analyse data.
- Experience working with GIS, digital mapping, or database reporting tools.
- Experience working within a project or programme environment.
- Strong stakeholder coordination and data management skills.
- Good organisational and project management abilities.
