This role is specific to the Question Paper 2 examination in the Core Pathway for Land-Based Engineering.
The paper consists of:
- Short answer questions (SAQ)
- Some of which are structured and extended response questions (ERQ)
The examiner will help in the creation of the question paper and would be required to:
- Attend all day Assessment Material Evaluation Committee (AMEC) meetings
- Support with the ongoing maintenance of the examinations
The examination series are twice a year in summer and autumn.
Successful applicants for the Principal Examiner position may be asked to:
- Carry out a short task
- Attend a telephone interview
- Attend training as part of the second stage of recruitment
