Temporary contract with the potential to become permanent

JG Hale Group Ltd is a multi-award-winning company delivering major construction projects across South Wales for Local Authorities, Housing Associations, and the private market, ranging in value from £5 to £50 million. JG Hale Group has experienced steady growth over recent years, and our continued expansion is creating exciting opportunities to grow our experienced team.

We are looking to appoint a Land and Development Manager to join our fast-paced development team. We have the ability for the number of days per week or hours to be flexible, and the position can be employed by Hale or on a consultancy basis.

Reporting to our Head of Development, the successful candidate will work closely with our Construction and Commercial departments, as well as consultant teams, to ensure that each of our secured projects start on site, in line with the programme. The overall purpose of the Land and Development Manager role is to lead and manage the development and execution of land-led package deals and negotiated projects in support of JG Hale Group’s ambitious Development Programme.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
