Housebuilding

To identify, evaluate, and secure land opportunities on commercially sound, viable contractual terms to service the business plan and expansion targets, managing acquisitions from initial identification through to contract exchange and planning support.

Land Sourcing & Identification

  • Establish and maintain strong networks with land agents, local authorities, landowners, and industry developers.
  • Proactively source on-market and off-market residential development opportunities in target regional locations.
  • Maintain and optimize the land database to monitor and assess potential site acquisitions.

Appraisal & Feasibility

  • Conduct thorough site assessments, competitive market research, local pricing analysis, and unit mix reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal technical, planning, and commercial disciplines to evaluate site constraints, design briefs, and viability assumptions.
  • Assist in running financial appraisals and preparing board acquisition papers.

Acquisition & Due Diligence

  • Formulate offers and negotiate commercial terms to pursue land opportunities within agreed parameters and forecasts.
  • Coordinate acquisition due diligence, managing technical investigations, title reports, planning reviews, and surveys.
  • Liaise with external lawyers, agents, consultants, and local authorities to negotiate agreements and progress land contracts through to completion.
