Are you passionate about travel and delivering exceptional customer service? Do you thrive on helping customers and creating memorable experiences?

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced travel professional to join a leading online Tour Operator based in Chester as a Land Operations Executive.

In this customer-focused role, you’ll use your excellent communication skills and natural ability to build strong relationships to support customers with their in-resort queries. You’ll be at the heart of ensuring every customer receives a personal, high-quality service — helping to turn great holidays into lasting customer relationships and encourage valuable repeat business.

This is a full-time opportunity offering a generous salary of up to £29,000, alongside a fantastic benefits package including discounted personal holidays, company pension, on-site parking and much more! Hours of work are on a rota basis Mon - Sat 9am - 5.30pm and Sun 10 - 6pm (approx. one weekend in four)

Role of Land Operations Executive:

  • Manage and resolve customer queries, primarily land queries
  • Action daily booking queues
  • Chase relevant suppliers for documentation/confirmation
  • Check and update documentation for specialist bookings
  • Effectively manage and resolve escalated issues
  • Crisis situations support
  • Handle incoming calls from Agents regarding documentation and Admin queries
  • Investigate booking anomalies and irregularities
  • Ensure telephone enquiries are dealt with in a helpful and precise manner ascertaining requirements
  • Provide remote assistance to customers in-resort to fully investigate and resolve their issues / queries
  • Confirming on-request bookings quickly and efficiently to increase revenue for the company
  • Dealing effectively with accommodation changes to reach a satisfactory outcome for customers and the business

Skills required for the role:

  • Customer Service experience in a fast-paced travel agency or tour operations environment
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Skillful with Microsoft Office (Word / Excel)
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to organise, prioritise and manage own workload efficiently to tight deadlines
  • Experience in dealing with conflict resolution
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work independently
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work
