Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Landing Gear Dynamics Engineer to join a growing engineering team supporting the development, analysis, and verification of advanced landing gear systems. This role will focus on multibody dynamics modelling, simulation, and analysis, supporting the full engineering lifecycle from concept development through to customer demonstrations and design reviews.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in dynamic systems analysis and multibody simulation, using industry-standard tools to assess the performance, stability, and behaviour of landing gear systems in complex operational environments.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging aerospace programmes within a collaborative engineering environment, contributing to the development of high-integrity engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain multibody dynamics models for landing gear systems and associated mechanical assemblies.
  • Perform dynamic simulations and analyses to evaluate system performance, loads, stability, and behaviour throughout operational scenarios.
  • Support design activities through the interpretation of simulation results and provision of engineering recommendations.
  • Produce technical reports, analysis documentation, and verification evidence to support engineering requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams including systems, structural, mechanical, and integration engineers.
  • Support technical reviews including Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs) and customer-facing engineering demonstrations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
