The Role

We're looking for a copy-led Landing Page Designer to join our growing CRO team. This is a new role. You'll own client landing pages from start to finish. You work out what the offer needs, decide what the page should argue, write the copy and build the page. Along the way you'll contribute to Growth Shop's growth and culture. Most teams split this work between a strategist, a copywriter and a developer. Every handover costs time, and the page ends up with no single owner. AI tools now cover much of the execution. They don't cover commercial judgment about an offer, or the ability to tell whether a page is working. Those two things are the job, which is why it leans towards copywriting.

What’s in it for you

  • Hands-on experience: you run the whole page, from offer diagnosis through copy and wireframe to the finished build. You do it across up to ten DTC accounts.
  • Global exposure: work with colleagues across multiple regions and time zones, supporting a diverse, international workforce.
  • Growth opportunities: develop your expertise in direct response copy and conversion-focused page design within a fast-scaling, performance-driven environment. The role is new, so you'll have a say in how it runs.
  • Learning environment: work directly with the Head of CRO, who reviews every concept before it gets built, and get access to professional development resources.
  • Culture-first team: be part of a company that values curiosity, creativity and collaboration, and backs it with real people-first initiatives.

Benefits

We don't do one-size-fits-all. Benefits at Growth Shop are built around our people's actual lives, across six areas:

  • Family: enhanced parental leave and support designed around real family life.
  • Time off: generous, flexible holiday that genuinely encourages you to switch off and recharge.
  • Wellbeing: mental health and wellbeing support, because "Happier" is one of our core values, not a poster.
  • Life solutions: practical perks that make day-to-day life run smarter.
  • Grow with us: real investment in your development: learning budget, clear progression, and ownership of high-spend accounts from early on.
  • Force for good: time and support to give back and create change beyond the business.
  • You'd join a team that works Smarter, Faster, Happier: fast feedback loops, real ownership over spend, and the chance to see your decisions move a brand's trajectory in weeks.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Diagnose the offer for each page. Work out where the customer sits, from unaware of the problem through to actively comparing competitors, and let the page structure follow from that.
  • Set the angle on your own accounts. You're expected to be doing this by day 90.
  • Write the copy and produce the wireframe before any build work starts.

Execution & Delivery

  • Produce direct response landing pages, presells and advertorials, plus product page systems that hold up across large catalogues.
  • Build the approved concept in full, including briefing and directing AI image and video tools.
  • Deliver around twenty units of work a month across a pod of up to ten accounts. That means three to four new pages and fifteen or more iterations on live pages. Iterations include new hooks, new hero treatments, restructured proof sections and single-section tests.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Submit each concept to the Head of CRO for a single, asynchronous review before the build. A wrong angle caught at that stage costs hours rather than a week.
  • Work in a pod with an account manager and a developer. The developer handles Shopify and technical implementation.
  • Hand finished pages to technical QA, then to the account manager, who presents them to the client. You won't run client delivery calls.

Quality & Standards

  • Write a copy that performs inside each client's commercial and regulatory limits, such as pricing restrictions or a list of claims you can't make. The copy works within those limits and does not look for ways around them.
  • Hold the brand, tone and compliance context for each of your accounts without needing it re-explained.
  • Build from the CRO design systems and add to them, so repeatable elements stay consistent and fast to produce.

Measurement & Improvement

  • Treat live pages as ongoing work. Most accounts are long-running, so pages are measured and iterated, not shipped once and left.
  • Track how your concepts do at first review. By day 60 they should be clearing more often than not.
  • Look honestly at pages that underperformed, work out why, and apply it to the next one.

Requirements

  • Must be able to overlap at least four hours a day with EST business hours (non-negotiable).
  • Proven direct response copywriting experience in any medium: email, paid social, video sales letters, advertorials or product pages. We don't ask for a degree or a set number of years.
  • Written English at native or near-native level. The work is judged sentence by sentence.
  • Working fluency with AI tools for copy, imagery and page build, such as Claude Code, Lovable or Cursor.
  • Experience producing web pages or interfaces, whether through design, copy or build.
  • The ability to look at a page critically and spot where structure, hierarchy or order is hurting conversion.
  • A track record of hitting deadlines at volume across several brands at once.
  • Familiarity with DTC ecommerce, writing within regulatory or pricing constraints, and basic HTML and CSS is a plus. Shopify or Liquid development and specific design tools are not required.

Skills you bring

  • Highly organised and reliable with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Strong communicator and approachable team player.
  • Curious, adaptable, and motivated to learn.
  • Comfortable working across time zones in a distributed team.
  • Able to handle concept feedback and client constraints with professionalism.
