Role Description
This full-time Landscape Architect role is based in Kidderminster with a hybrid working arrangement, allowing some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing landscape concepts and detailed designs, preparing planting plans, and contributing to landscape detailed design for a variety of projects. The role involves producing drawings, details, reports, and visualizations, coordinating with internal team members and external consultants, and supporting projects from initial feasibility through construction and post-completion review. The Landscape Architect will participate in site visits, stakeholder meetings, and design reviews, ensuring that projects align with sustainability, biodiversity, and community-focused objectives.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Landscape Architecture and Landscape Design for a range of project types.
- Experience in Landscape Design to support project delivery across all stages with a focus on detailed design.
- Ability to prepare clear, accurate Planting Plans aligned with ecological and aesthetic goals (with input from senior members of the team).
- Proficiency in relevant design software, ideally Vectorworks (e.g., CAD, BIM, and graphic tools) and strong technical drawing ability.
- Understanding of sustainable design principles, biodiversity enhancement, and climate-responsive landscape solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas to clients and stakeholders.
- Relevant degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely related field; professional registration or working toward it is an advantage.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines, work collaboratively in a team, and contribute positively to a hybrid work environment.
