Our EMEA Practice is now seeking a Mid-Level Landscape Architect based in our Putney studio.

About the Role

This role is based in the Urban Design Studio, a cross-disciplinary team specialising in designing complex, experience-led urban spaces and public realms. As we expand our landscape architecture capabilities in-house, we’re looking for a Mid-Level Landscape Architect with:

  • Strong technical expertise
  • A collaborative mindset

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping large-scale, landscape-driven masterplans and site strategies across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with architects, masterplanners, events specialists, and engineers to develop high-impact, technically deliverable landscape schemes for sport, culture, and entertainment districts. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing landscape concepts and public realm visions across diverse scales and typologies.
  • Producing hard and soft landscape packages through RIBA stages 1–4, including materials, planting, detailing, and cross-disciplinary coordination.
  • Crafting compelling visuals, diagrams, drawings, and 3D models to effectively communicate design intent at all phases.
  • Working closely with internal teams (architecture, urban design, wayfinding, events) and external consultants to deliver integrated, cohesive solutions.
  • Contributing to timely, high-quality project delivery, aiding in planning, coordination, and reporting as needed.
  • Applying insights into public space design, planting systems, climate resilience, and user experience to create future-ready landscapes.

Key Requirements

  • A professional degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
  • Recent professional experience with proven expertise in delivering high-quality landscape design through full project phases.
  • Strong experience working through RIBA stages 1–4, especially in complex urban environments.
  • Proficiency in:
    • Rhino and Revit
    • Adobe Creative Suite
    • Rendering tools (Enscape, Lumion, Twinmotion)
  • Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative, proactive attitude, with enthusiasm for working in a multi-disciplinary team.
