Role Description
The Landscape Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Halifax, responsible for overseeing day-to-day landscaping operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. This role includes:

- Planning and supervising landscape maintenance schedules
- Coordinating staff and subcontractors
- Managing resources, equipment, and materials on site
- Reviewing designs and plans
- Providing guidance on construction methods
- Ensuring irrigation and planting work is completed according to best practices

Daily tasks also include:
- Liaising with clients
- Monitoring quality and progress
- Enforcing health and safety standards
- Providing hands-on support with landscaping work when required
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Landscape Management and Landscape Maintenance, with experience overseeing daily operations and maintenance programs.
- Proficiency in Landscape Design, including interpreting plans, layouts, and specifications for a variety of outdoor spaces.
- Practical experience in Landscape Construction, including hardscaping, fencing, and installation of outdoor features.
- Working knowledge of Irrigation systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and efficient water management.
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance.
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings and site plans.
- Solid understanding of plant care, soil conditions, and seasonal maintenance requirements.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Commitment to health and safety standards and safe equipment operation.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to sites in and around Yorkshire.
- Relevant vocational training or certification in landscaping, horticulture, or a related field is an asset.
