Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site Landscaper role based in Liphook. The Landscaper will carry out day‑to‑day garden maintenance, including mowing, pruning, planting, weeding, and seasonal care of lawns, borders, and trees. The role involves assisting with landscape construction tasks such as laying turf, installing hard landscaping features, and supporting the setup of irrigation and garden lighting systems. The Landscaper will work as part of a team to implement garden designs to specification, maintain existing client gardens to a high standard, and ensure sites are kept tidy, safe, and presentable. The position may also include operating machinery and tools, following health and safety procedures, and communicating progress and issues to supervisors.

- Strong practical skills in Landscape Maintenance and Gardening, with experience caring for plants, lawns, borders, and trees.
- Competence in Landscaping and Landscape Design implementation, including working from plans and assisting with hard and soft landscaping projects.
- Knowledge of Irrigation systems, with the ability to help install, maintain, and troubleshoot watering solutions for gardens.
- Ability to use common landscaping tools and machinery safely, with a focus on adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Good physical fitness and stamina, with the capacity to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform manual tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and pride in maintaining high presentation standards on all sites.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills; able to follow instructions and collaborate with designers, supervisors, and colleagues.
- Relevant horticultural or landscaping qualifications or certifications are an advantage, as is previous experience in professional garden or landscape work.
