Job Opportunity: Artificial Grass Installer

We’re one of the leading artificial grass brands in the UK and are looking for experienced artificial grass installers to join the team.

Our ideal candidate can confidently cut, fit and install artificial grass projects of all shapes and sizes, is organised and efficient for projects of varying timescales, and interacts professionally with both members of the public and their colleagues.

We operate all year round with a constant diary of transformation projects lined up so this role is ideally suited to someone who can hit the ground running.

Pay Rate

Starting at £15.00 per hour (skillset and experience will be taken into account).

Duties

  • Follow instructions from your Team Leader and Operations Department.
  • Wear the correct uniform and PPE at all times.
  • Off-load and load materials at the start and end of the day.
  • Possible collection of materials/equipment from nearby supplier branches if required by your Team Leader.
  • Lift, transport, and distribute materials as part of the installation job.
  • Assist the Team Leader and other team members in the cutting and fitting of the grass.
  • Liaise with the office as needed to confirm completion or status of jobs.
  • Other tasks involved in site, vehicle, equipment maintenance or as instructed by Operations.

Essentials Skills & Experience

  • Full, clean driver’s license (provisional not accepted)
  • Own transport to get to and from the yard every morning (limited public transport) – a van will be provided for getting to and from job sites.
  • Artificial grass, groundworks, general landscaping
  • Good timekeeping
  • Be a team player
