FREELANCE LANDSCAPER / LANDSCAPING SITE LEAD CIS
High-End Private Landscaping Projects
Location: Warwickshire / Midlands
Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 16:30
£200 day
THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Freelance Landscaper / Landscaping Site Lead to join an established, high-end landscaping team delivering bespoke garden construction projects for prestigious private properties.
You will lead a team of 3 landscapers, taking responsibility for organising the day-to-day works, interpreting project requirements and ensuring the team delivers work to an exceptionally high standard.
This is a hands-on role and would suit an experienced landscaper who is confident taking ownership of a site and leading a small team.
THE TYPE OF PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR
This is not just a labouring position.
We need an experienced, commercially aware landscaper who can arrive on site, understand what needs to be achieved, organise the team and get the work moving without constant supervision.
You will be working on prestigious private properties where professionalism, communication, attention to detail and presentation are extremely important.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and organise a team of 3 landscapers.
- Read and understand drawings, specifications and site requirements.
- Set out works accurately and efficiently.
- Levelling and preparation of ground.
- Excavation and earthworks.
- Shuttering and formwork.
- Concrete works.
- Drainage and pipework installation.
- General hard landscaping and groundworks.
- Operate and coordinate plant and machinery.
- Ensure work is completed accurately, safely and to a high standard.
- Manage the daily workload and keep the team productive.
- Liaise professionally with clients and other site personnel.
- Identify requirements and potential issues before they become problems.
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional working environment.
Essential Requirements
We are looking for someone who is:
- An experienced landscaper with strong construction knowledge.
- Confident leading a small team.
- Highly organised and able to plan the day’s work.
- Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility.
- Able to communicate confidently and professionally with high-end private clients.
- Experienced with setting out, levels and groundworks.
- Reliable, punctual and presentable.
- Used to working to exceptionally high standards.

PLANT & TOOLS
Ideally, You Will Have Access To Your Own
Transport & tools
Plant and machinery will be available to use.
Qualifications
- Valid CSCS card essential.
- Relevant plant/machinery tickets highly desirable such as Dumper, Roller and Excavator
- Appropriate CPCS/NPORS or equivalent tickets advantageous.
