Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Romsey for a Landscaping Contracts Manager. The role involves overseeing landscaping contracts from planning through completion, including managing schedules, budgets, and quality standards for multiple residential developments. The Landscaping Contracts Manager will coordinate with landscape designers, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring work is carried out in line with specifications, health and safety requirements, and local regulations.

Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Preparing and reviewing contract documents
  • Monitoring progress on site
  • Resolving issues
  • Reporting on performance and costs to senior management

  • Evaluating contractor performance
  • Supporting tender and procurement activities
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of landscaping standards across projects

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing landscaping or construction contracts, including scheduling, budgeting, and on-site coordination.
  • Knowledge of residential landscaping practices, materials, and installation methods, with an eye for design and quality.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple sites and deadlines.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills for working with contractors, suppliers, colleagues, and clients.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements relevant to construction and landscaping work.
  • Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, project tracking tools) and willingness to learn company systems.
  • Relevant qualification in construction management, horticulture, landscaping, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Full UK driving license and flexibility to travel between sites as required.
