About This Role

Contract summary:

The role:

The Language Teacher will teach boys who are preparing for their GCSE or A Level Italian. The lessons are 1:1 and they take place in the boys’ free time. The boys are often free on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, before or after their sporting commitments.

The skills:

You must be a fluent speaker of Italian, preferably with experience of one-to-one or small-group teaching of young people. With your patient, positive personality, you will build a rapport and culture of mutual respect with pupils that motivates them to learn.

The environment:

Harrow School is situated in Harrow on the Hill, northwest London, and is one of the best-known schools in the world. Around 835 boys study at Harrow and live in the School’s 12 boarding houses.

The Modern Languages Department is a large and thriving department in a purpose-built building looking out over the city of London.
