Role Description
The Language Tutor role is a full-time, remote position focused on delivering effective, engaging language instruction to learners in an online environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Planning and conducting virtual lessons
- Assessing learner needs and progress
- Adapting teaching strategies to support individual learning goals
- Providing clear explanations of grammar and vocabulary
- Facilitating conversation practice
- Assigning and reviewing exercises or homework
- Maintaining regular communication with learners
- Providing constructive feedback
- Documenting progress in accordance with Tutoring’s guidelines
The Language Tutor is expected to participate in occasional team meetings or training sessions to share best practices and continuously improve instructional quality.

- Strong skills in Tutoring and English Teaching, with experience supporting diverse learners at varying proficiency levels
- Online Tutoring skills, including comfort with virtual classroom tools and digital learning platforms
- Excellent Communication and Teaching skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and encourage active participation
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Education, Languages, Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience in language instruction
- Certification in TEFL, TESOL, or similar credentials is beneficial, as is experience teaching in remote or online settings
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to manage a consistent full-time schedule in a remote work environment
