About the role:
PwC UK Healthcare Corporate Finance team are sector specialists advising privately owned, PE backed and large corporate clients across the country. We advise on an exciting variety of transactions on the sell-side and buy-side, with a typical deal size of c.£100-500m+.
As a Healthcare CF team, we have a leading reputation for executing high-profile transactions, advising on some fantastic deals nationally and internationally across Europe, giving fantastic exposure to a variety of deal structures and clients across the sector.
We’re looking for a confident, collaborative Manager who brings 2-4 years of deal experience, a proactive mindset, and commercial acumen. Knowledge and understanding of the applicable regional dynamics (economic, political, industry-focused) is preferred but not essential. In return, you’ll work within a motivated team of dealmakers, helping clients navigate exciting, complex and fast-paced transactions.
What your days will look like:
As a Manager, you’ll bring technical expertise, commercial insight, and leadership, to help clients through the complexities of dealmaking.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Supporting live transactions end-to-end, from origination and marketing through to execution and completion, with ownership over key workstreams;
- Building trusted client relationships and delivering high quality work, across pitch documents, marketing materials, financial analysis and other transaction deliverables;
- Getting involved in our origination efforts; conducting detailed market, financial and commercial research, supporting with proposals, and meeting with potential targets;
- Supporting and coaching junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

This role is for you if:
- You have Corporate Finance experience, with end-to-end deal experience;
- You have strong financial analysis and modelling skills, as well as commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically;
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build trusted relationships with clients;
- You have a proactive mindset, pay strong attention to detail, and can manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in a fast-paced deal environment;
- You can work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams, and work collaboratively with those around you.
Must possess an ACA/CA/ACCA qualification (or international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country.
