LARC Specialist Nurse
We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable LARC Specialist Nurse to join our Outstanding Sexual Health Service on a part-time basis.
About the Role
Our team delivers high-quality, evidence-based care to people to support their sexual health needs. You’ll be part of an enthusiastic and passionate team dedicated to keeping people in Kent and Medway safe and well, now and in later life, by providing contraception, treatment for sexually-transmitted infections, and advice and support to maintain healthy relationships.
Responsibilities
- Use innovative thinking to create new possibilities and ideas around increasing the uptake of LARC within Medway with the support of the LARC administrative secretary.
- The work will require both independent and team work, and you will be expected to keep records and data in order to provide reports and evidence that supports your activity within the LARC programme.
- In addition to clinical responsibilities, you will be expected to undertake non-clinical duties including providing support and training to a variety of professionals, individual and small and large group presentation work.
