Can you build a winning team and still win business yourself?
We are looking for a player-coach to lead the next stage of our Large Accounts business in the UK. You will build the business alongside the team — winning your own large accounts, setting the standard for how we sell, and coaching AEs and Account Managers as they grow. This is the start of a journey: as the business scales, the role is designed to evolve into a full management position. It is an opportunity to make a visible impact in the UK while drawing on the products, people and experience of a multinational organisation.
Why ABAX
ABAX is one of Europe’s leading IoT and mobility technology companies. We help businesses gain visibility of their vehicles, equipment and assets so they can work more efficiently, safely and sustainably. Our customers span construction, logistics, utilities, manufacturing, field services and beyond.
We are investing in the UK market. You will have room to influence how the Large Team grows, backed by colleagues and capabilities across Europe.
What you will be doing
- Lead, coach and develop the Large Team, creating clear expectations, useful feedback and a culture of shared accountability.
- Build our large account business — prospect, run discovery, build business cases, negotiate and close opportunities with larger customers — and open doors the team can walk through.
- Help the team qualify well, maintain healthy pipelines, progress complex deals and forecast with confidence in HubSpot.
- Join important customer conversations, remove obstacles and coach the team without taking ownership away from them.
- Work with SDRs, Customer Success, Marketing and colleagues across ABAX to create opportunities and grow customer value.
- Bring customer insight into decisions about our UK approach, and turn good ideas into practical action.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
