About The Role

The Laser Marking Operator position in Aldridge involves setting up, running, and maintaining laser equipment to produce precise components for a market-leading manufacturer. Working full-time on an initial temporary contract with permanent prospects, the role covers a Monday-to-Friday day shift. Duties include generating accurate, permanent serial numbers and other marks from technical drawings, ensuring output meets customer specifications. Job Responsibilities

  • Set and operate a laser marking machine
  • Produce accurate and permanent marks such as serial number/codes on a variety of products
  • Load parts/components
  • Perform quality checks
  • Inspect finished parts
  • Ensure paperwork is kept up to date
  • Report machine faults

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a background in Engineering, the ability to read technical drawings, and can demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy. Training will be provided.
