Looking for a hands-on manufacturing role with a stable and respected employer?
We're recruiting a Laser Operator to join a leading manufacturer within the heavy-duty vehicle sector. Working as part of a skilled production team, you'll operate advanced laser cutting machinery to manufacture high-quality metal components to exact specifications.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating laser cutting machines
- Reading and interpreting engineering/CAD drawings
- Manufacturing components from stainless steel and aluminium
- Using measuring equipment including Vernier, callipers, and micrometres
- Carrying out quality checks and completing production documentation
- Performing routine machine maintenance and daily TPM checks
- Working to production targets while maintaining high-quality standards

What We're Looking For
- Previous laser operator experience
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Experience using precision measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Desirable: Experience with laser cutting machinery, particularly Amada, Trumpf, or Bystronic systems.

Shift Pattern
Week 1: 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday to Thursday, 6:00am to 12:00pm Friday
Week 2: 2:30pm to 11:00pm Monday to Thursday, 12:00pm to 6:00pm Friday
