Role Description
The Lash and Brows Stylist is a full-time, on-site role based at Sweet Beauty Edinburgh in Leith, Edinburgh. The stylist will perform a range of lash and brow services, including lash lifts, lash extensions, brow shaping, tinting, henna brows, and brow lamination, ensuring precise, safe, and high-quality results.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Recommending suitable treatments
- Maintaining accurate records of services performed
- Preparing and sanitising treatment areas
- Adhering to hygiene and safety standards
- Managing appointment schedules
- Supporting overall studio presentation
The role also involves:

- Contributing to a welcoming client experience
- Staying updated on trends and techniques in lash and brow styling
Qualifications
- Professional skills in lash lifts, lash extensions, brow shaping, brow tinting, henna brows, and brow lamination.
- Strong client consultation abilities, including assessing client needs, explaining treatment options, and providing aftercare guidance.
- Commitment to hygiene and safety, including proper sanitisation of tools, treatment areas, and adherence to relevant health regulations.
- Attention to detail, steady manual dexterity, and an eye for symmetry and aesthetics in lash and brow design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly, inclusive, and professional client-facing approach.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy studio environment, manage time well, and handle back-to-back appointments.
- Recognised qualification or training in beauty therapy, lash extensions, or brow styling; relevant certifications are highly beneficial.
- Prior experience in a salon, spa, or aesthetic studio setting is preferred, particularly with diverse client groups.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing training, keep up with new techniques, and follow Sweet Beauty’s ethical and client-centered standards.
