Company Description
Studiero is an education platform focused on helping learners study more effectively, stay organized, and achieve stronger academic results. The platform provides one-to-one tutoring alongside a range of educational resources to support different learning needs and goals. Studiero also offers exam paper marking and mock exam preparation to help learners build confidence and understand exam expectations. In addition, revision workshops give learners structured support and strategies to improve performance across subjects.
Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Latin Tutor at Studiero. The Latin Tutor will deliver online tutoring sessions to learners at various levels, helping them build vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, and translation skills. Day-to-day tasks include:

The tutor will use Studiero’s tools and resources to track learner progress, communicate clearly with learners and caregivers as needed, and adapt teaching approaches to different learning styles. The role also involves maintaining a professional, inclusive, and motivating learning environment in all online interactions.
Qualifications
- Strong command of Latin language, including grammar, vocabulary, translation, and reading comprehension.
- Proven tutoring or teaching experience, ideally in Latin or classical languages, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Skills in lesson planning, designing exercises, and using educational resources to support different levels of learners.
- Ability to provide clear feedback on assignments, support exam preparation, and guide learners through revision strategies.
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills, with a learner-centered and inclusive approach.
- Comfort with remote work, including using online teaching platforms, digital tools, and managing a flexible schedule.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Classics, Latin, Education, or a related field is highly beneficial.
- Experience with standardized exams or curriculum frameworks relevant to Latin studies is a plus.
