Introduction to role

This is a unique opportunity to join AstraZeneca during one of the most exciting periods in our history. With a strong and growing pipeline, we are preparing to bring a number of innovative medicines to patients, creating the need for exceptional launch leadership, collaboration and execution.

As Launch Excellence PMO, you will be at the heart of some of the UK's most strategically important launches, helping turn scientific innovation into real-world patient impact. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Operations, you will bring together colleagues across Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Marketing, Sales, Supply, Digital and Analytics to drive seamless launch planning and delivery.

This is far more than a traditional project management role. You will be the catalyst that connects strategy to execution, ensuring teams remain aligned, risks are anticipated and decisions are made with confidence. Working across multiple therapy areas, including Oncology, you will help establish launch excellence as a core capability, enabling AstraZeneca to deliver life-changing medicines to patients faster and more effectively.

Enable Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Bring together diverse stakeholders from across the organisation to create a shared vision for launch success. Facilitate alignment, remove barriers and ensure accountability across multiple functions, teams and markets.

Manage Performance & Risk

  • Monitor launch progress against agreed milestones and KPIs, identifying potential risks and opportunities early. Translate complex information into actionable insights that support informed decision-making and successful execution.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
