Laundry & Linen Porter – The Fife Arms, Braemar

Award-winning hospitality in the heart of the Cairngorms

Awarded Condé Nast Traveler Triple Crown and holder of 2 Michelin Keys, The Fife Arms is one of Scotland’s most celebrated hotels located in the picturesque village of Braemar, within the Cairngorms National Park.

We are now looking for an enthusiastic Laundry & Linen Porter to join our outstanding team — someone with a passion for excellence, an eye for detail, and a desire to grow within a luxury environment.

What you’ll do

As a key member of our Housekeeping team, you will:

  • Sort, count, and record all linen to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Wash and iron in-house laundry, including kitchen uniforms, cloths, bed, and bath linens.
  • Check all laundry in and out, completing the required documentation.
  • Support Housekeepers by stripping beds, removing used linens, and replenishing rooms with fresh stock.
  • Keep the laundry area clean, organised, and well-maintained, including machinery and storage.
  • Carry out periodic deep-cleaning duties as per assigned checklists.
  • Ensure trolleys, cupboards, and guest service items are fully stocked.
  • Assist with moving furniture, beds, and cots when required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
