Role Overview:
South Coast Nursing Homes are recruiting for a Laundry Assistant to join our team at Eastridge Manor, our dementia specialist Nursing home in Bolney, near Haywards Heath.

Hours
- Week 1: Tuesday 8-6, Friday 8-6
- Week 2: Tuesday 8-6, Friday 8-6, Saturday 8-6, Sunday 8-6
Responsibilities
- Operate Washer/Dryers to launder clothes, linens, and resident personal belongings
- Take particular care with resident’s personal laundry, to prevent accidental damage and present in well ironed state
- Check resident’s personal laundry for tears, broken zips, or lost buttons and refer to manager for discussion if a repair is necessary
- Be aware of colour coded laundry bags and the temperature required to launder
- Launder and iron home curtains and nets as needed
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene throughout the laundry room area
