Weekend Laundry Assistant
Location: Patcham Nursing Home, Brighton
Salary: £13.45 per hour (weekend rate)
Hours: 14 hours per week | Saturdays & Sundays (08:00 - 14:00 or 09:00 - 15:00)

At Patcham Nursing Home, we know that clean, fresh clothing and linen play an important part in helping our residents feel comfortable, respected and at home. We're looking for a reliable and caring Weekend Laundry Assistant to join our friendly team.
Whether you have previous experience or are looking for a rewarding weekend role, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
- Washing, drying, ironing and folding residents' clothing and household linen
- Ensuring all laundry is correctly labelled and returned to the right resident
- Keeping the laundry area clean, organised and well maintained
- Working closely with the care team to support residents' individual needs
- Following infection control, COSHH and health & safety procedures at all times

What we're looking for
- Reliable and organised with a good eye for detail
- Able to work independently and manage your workload
- Caring, respectful and committed to maintaining residents' dignity
- Previous laundry or care home experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided
