Angusfield House Care Home provides nursing, dementia, and palliative care for up to 40 residents, located in Aberdeen's West End

Laundry Assistant Contract

  • £12.71 per hour
  • Part-time hours per week - late shifts 3/4 shifts per week
  • Paid PVG, pension, and uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

Comfort, dignity, and attention to detail play an important role in daily life within the home, and as a Laundry Assistant, you will help ensure residents always feel comfortable, cared for, and supported through the high standards you maintain every single day.

Working as part of the wider housekeeping team, you will be responsible for managing daily laundry services, ensuring clothing, bedding, and personal belongings are handled with care, organized correctly, and returned promptly to residents. Alongside maintaining excellent laundry standards, you will help ensure laundry areas remain clean, safe, and organized while following all hygiene and infection prevention procedures.
