About The Role

PwC UK is seeking a Law Firm Advisory Director to help grow and lead our consulting work with law firms and professional services organisations.

The Director will play a senior role in expanding PwC’s presence in the legal sector, originating opportunities, building trusted relationships with law firm leadership teams, shaping propositions, and supporting the delivery of high-impact transformation programmes.

This role is intended for a senior legal sector operator or consultant with a strong understanding of how law firms work, how partners make decisions, and how firms are responding to market pressures around growth, profitability, pricing, AI, operating model change, technology, resilience and client expectations.

What Your Days Will Look Like

  • Originate and convert consulting opportunities with law firms and professional services clients, building trusted relationships with Managing Partners, COOs, CFOs and other senior leaders.
  • Shape and sell practical strategy and advisory propositions across strategy, growth, operating model transformation, pricing, profitability, AI adoption, deals and integration.
  • Lead high-quality client delivery, bringing sector insight, commercial challenge and practical recommendations tailored to law firm leadership teams.
  • Work across PwC to combine expertise from Consulting, Deals, Tax, and Managed Services into joined-up client solutions.
  • Build market eminence through thought leadership, events, targeted client engagement and clear points of view on the future of law firms.
  • Coach and develop the team, strengthening PwC’s legal sector knowledge, proposal quality and delivery capability.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
