BP Collins is a multi-award-winning law firm based in the Thames Valley. We advise individuals and businesses, and we’re known for clear, practical guidance and a supportive, inclusive culture.
This Law Insight Day is open to A-level students. It’s a chance to explore what studying and working in law is really like, learn about our practice areas and training routes, and see what an early career at BP Collins could involve.
What you’ll get from the day:
- Understand the different types of law we practice and the clients we work with
- Learn what skills solicitors use day-to-day (and how to build them now)
- Meet trainees and lawyers, hear about their career paths, and ask questions
- Get practical advice on future applications and work experience

What happens on the day:
- Short sessions led by our trainees on the ‘seats’ they’ve completed
- Insights into our teams, work and culture
- An afternoon mock mediation exercise run by our lawyers
Our HR team will be available throughout the day to answer questions about careers in law, next steps after sixth form/college, and how to apply for opportunities with us in the future.
