LAW PRACTICE MANAGER, GREATER MANCHESTER - Play a Key Role in the Continued Success of a Long-Established Law Firm
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Practice Manager to join a long-established and well-regarded law firm in Greater Manchester.
This is a key position within the firm, providing the successful candidate with the opportunity to take responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of the practice, whilst working closely with the firm's senior leadership team to support its continued development and success.
The Role
As Practice Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of the firm, ensuring that the business continues to operate efficiently while maintaining the high standards expected by its clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day running and administration of the practice
- Supporting the firm's partners and senior management team
- Managing and developing operational processes and procedures
- Monitoring compliance, risk and regulatory requirements
- Overseeing HR, recruitment and staff development
- Supporting financial and budgetary management
- Managing relationships with key external suppliers and professional advisers
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery
- Supporting the implementation of the firm's strategic plans
- Contributing to the continued growth and development of the business

The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from experienced Practice Managers or senior legal operations professionals with a strong understanding of the demands of working within a law firm.
You will have:
- Previous experience in a Practice Manager, Legal Operations or senior management role within a law firm
- A good understanding of the operational and regulatory requirements of a law firm
- Strong organisational and commercial skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- The confidence to work closely with Partners and senior stakeholders
- A proactive approach, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A collaborative and approachable management style
