Do you enjoy the satisfying transformation from an overgrown and untidy garden to a clean, clear, and ready-to-enjoy space? We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Lawn and Garden Contractor to help bring residential gardens and outdoor areas back under control.
OneTrendy Fix It Services is seeking an experienced independent lawn and garden professional to collaborate with us on multiple projects each month. We work closely with housing charities managing affordable homes across Gloucester, Cheltenham, and Tewkesbury, and we need trusted professionals like you to help secure these properties.
From long grass and untidy hedges to tangled borders and overgrown paths, you’ll make outdoor spaces safer, tidier and more presentable for tenants.
What you’ll be doing
- Cutting and edging lawns
- Trimming long grass, weeds and difficult-to-reach areas
- Mowing lawns and clearing grass cuttings
- Trimming, shaping and reducing hedges
- Cutting back bushes, shrubs, brambles, ivy and other overgrown vegetation
- Clearing garden borders, pathways, patios and driveways
- Removing weeds from hard surfaces and planted areas
- Cutting back vegetation from walls, fences, gates and buildings
- Clearing fallen branches, leaves, green waste and general garden debris
- Preparing gardens for property viewings, inspections, lettings or handovers
- Identifying and reporting damaged fences, unsafe trees, pests, fly-tipping or other property issues
- Taking before-and-after photographs where required
- Leaving each garden tidy, safe and ready for use

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as an independent contractor with your own tools and transport.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently across Gloucester, Cheltenham, and Tewkesbury.
- Valid liability insurance (minimum £1 million cover) is required for partnership.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Professional attitude with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Provide gardening services and take genuine pride in leaving places better than you found them
- Confident using gardening tools safely
- Friendly, professional, and confident communicating with landlords, agents, and homeowners
- Able to spot issues that need reporting rather than simply working around them
- Complete jobs on time and submit clear invoices promptly
Payment Terms
- We operate on a bi-weekly payment cycle.
- Payment will be made within two weeks of invoice submission, following our payment schedule.
